We operate as a combination of a shelter and a rescue station for domestic and wild animals. Once accepted, our goal is to take care of integration, socialization, training, health care and subsequent recovery. We believe that all animals deserves to be treated fairly.
These animals can after help people through therapy to help with grief, loneliness and other emotional distress. In the same way, people can help sad, lonely animal individuals who would appreciate some attention, the human touch and even the warmth of their new home. That is how both parties may benefit from each other.
The idea is based on the fact that both groups, animals and people, are naturally social individuals who like contact. Unfortunately, we humans and also animals can find ourselves in difficult life situations, where the company of one and the other can help us mentally and physically.
Pet therapy is used to help improve patients mental, social, emotional and physical functions.
Animals
by their nature are non judgmental, compassionate, making them the perfect therapists and companions.
